The Westgate School

The Westgate School in Slough, Berkshire, equips young people for life in an ever-changing world, by challenging and nurturing each individual, in and out of the classroom, to achieve their personal best. They educate, inspire, and support the local community.

They are guided by our strong moral compass to deliver an inclusive curriculum which is broad and balanced. Established in 1958, they are a thriving non-selective, co-educational secondary school, with a Sixth Form.

They have an embedded Personal Development Curriculum from Year 7 through to Year 13. This encompasses Westgate6, PSHE, (CEIAG), student leadership opportunities and an extra-curricular enrichment programme.

The school strives to be a fully inclusive school and actively seek to remove the barriers to learning and participation that can hinder students.

The achievements, attitudes and wellbeing of all their students matter. Together, staff, governors, students, parents and carers work collaboratively with a strong sense of community built upon their core ARK values.

Park Hill Junior School

Park Hill Junior School in Croydon is a three-form entry school, for children aged between 7 and 11.

The school provides a nurturing and holistic learning environment with excellent teaching and an ambitious curriculum, providing each child with the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need for their future.

Park Hill Junior School is an academy in the Greenshaw Learning Trust.

The Greenshaw Learning Trust is an academy trust, a charitable company with the sole purpose of maintaining and developing academy schools, to provide comprehensive and inclusive education for the public benefit, funded by the Department for Education.

The Trust seeks to build a ‘family’ of like-minded schools that share essential values and a common ethos and vision for education and learning, and collaborate to provide mutual support, share their good practice and learn from each other.

Each school in the Trust will retain and develop its own distinct character, led by its own leadership team and local governing body. The Trust will provide the support and infrastructure the schools need to enable them to develop and improve and for the school leadership and governing body to achieve their objectives for their school.
